Friday Reads: Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh

I don’t know if I’ve ever expressed before the extent of my admiration, love, and obsession with Nalini Singh’s books. HOLY FREAKIN’ HINDU COWS, this woman can write. Although I’m a bit torn between whether I like the Guild Hunter series or the Psy/Changling series, more, I can say that whenever one of her books or novellas is released, I’m on it like a relapsed coke junkie diving into a pound of powder. This leads me to my Friday read. ARCHANGEL’S BLADE is the fourth book in the Guild Hunter series. It involves vampires, angels, humans; a supremely fantabulous mix of incredibly rich and developed characters.

So…I am reading ARCHANGEL’S BLADE for the THIRD TIME since last week. No freakin’ lie. It’s like a constant high. I already have bookmarked my favorite scenes in my nook. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’m not. I will say that it’s about a strong, freaky vamp and a damaged yet recovering hunter set in a world where vamps and angels work cohesively. Said strong hero is so sexy that he makes me shiver despite this weather. Damaged heroine is such a developed character, I feel for her from the very first scene.

If you haven’t read Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series before, I strongly recommend starting from the beginning because you want to savor the build up to this book. It’s as delicious as her men. Definitely a must read!

So what are you guys reading these days? Happy Friday!

Self-editing for Fiction writers. That is what I am reading.

Isn’t this the writer you told me I had to read?
